Eighteen months right after the launch of “Jadoo”, the band hit the music world with its second album “Milestones 2”. Singles like “Aag” and “Aandhi aur Toofan” from the album did very well at the music charts. The band had its cult following. The Milestones was first official band for Amnesty International Sindh, Pakistan playing fund raiser via PMDC . It played rock, psychedelic rock, blues and pop onstage .
The band formed in 1990 was later on dissolved in 1995 after throwing the music lovers aback with it melodies.

Regarded as one of the pioneers of the local pop music industry and rightly so, the band rocked it and made history. The group was formed by lead guitarist, Ziyyad Gulzar and bassist/vocalist, Ali Tim and lead vocalist, Candy Pereira. The Milestone was the first band with a female vocalist who sang metal , rock ,pop and basically all genres with equal ease.
The band was bred by diverse inspiration of music gods like The Beatles, CCR, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. The influence is evident in the albums and music put on tape by the Stones. The bands compositions are a brew of pop rock with hints of Blues!
